How can I celebrate Coaches Week?

There are many ways that you can celebrate Coaches Week.

1. Plan a coach related event in your community, sport club or association and register it as a Coaches Week event More info >

3. Athletes: nominate your coach for an ACE award and tell us what your coach has done for you More info >
4. Coaches - tell us what coaching means to you and/or why you became a coach More info >

WIN PRIZES DURING COACHES WEEK!

'Don't Leave Home Without It' contest: Take a copy of the BC Coaches Perspective Magazine with you and take a photo. Post your photo on our Facebook wall or email it to news@coachesbc.ca to enter the contest to WIN a PRIZE! (We will print the winner's photo in Perspective.)
'Like' our Facebook page and be entered into a random draw to win a Coaches BC prize package. 1 winner will be chosen. Contest ends Sept 26.
Contest within a contest: 8 questions will be posted daily on our facebook page. Comment any time throughout Coaches Week to be entered into the DAILY prize give away! (If you comment every day, your odds of winning goes up). Contest ends Sept 25, but you have to 'like' our page to follow this contest.
Submit a photo in our 'Coach Photo' contest: Do you have photos of yourself or other coaches in action? Submit your high resolution photos of 'coaching in action'.  Top 3 photos will be published in the BC Coaches Perspective magazine and those who submitted them will receive a prize. Upload photos to our facebook page or email to news@coachesbc.ca
Calling all BC Coaches to tell us: What does coaching mean to you? Why are you a coach? Tell us about a time that stands out in your coaching career. (funny or serious) Share your coaching stories and yours might get published in our BC Coaches Perspective magazine or posted on our website (with your permission of course).  It's a great time to reflect on what you have committed so much of your time to...coaching. Share your experience.   Make sure to include your name, contact information, and age of athletes.  Send to news@coachesbc.ca

Coaches BC is excited to bring its 6th Annual BC Coaches Week through the week of September 15th to the 22th.

Celebrating BC coaches at all levels, in all sports across British Columbia, BC Coaches Week aims to recruit, develop and celebrate coaches throughout the province.  It fosters recognition of those coaches who often go unrecognized and underappreciated – the volunteers, parents, community coaches, etc.
