Welcome Dylan Brown to Coaches BC

We are very happy to announce that Dylan Brown has joined the Coaches BC team. Dylan is originally from Ottawa but currently resides in Vancouver. Dylan received a diploma in Human Kinetics from Langara College in 2012 and is now a fourth year Kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia. Through the UBC Kinesiology Co-op Program, Dylan has gained experience in the provincial sport sector as a program coordinator for the BC Wheelchair Sports Association and Curl BC and is excited to complete his third and final co-op term with Coaches BC. Dylan is also a volunteer coach for a local visually impaired ice hockey team, The Vancouver Eclipse, and has instructed various children’s multisport and physical activity programs in community centers and schools across Vancouver. Dylan is a passionate advocate of developing physical literacy in children and youth in order to create healthy and active lifestyles that last a lifetime. Dylan believes that coaches and instructors play a pivotal role in this process and is looking forward to working with an organization that provides support to coaches throughout BC.
