Membership in the Coaches Association of BC ensures that you have the most up-to-date information to be the best coach you can be, regardless of the level of athlete you work with. All coaches are eligible for membership, regardless of whether or not they are NCCP certified. Are you a coach for a sport club or association? The Coaches BC quarterly publication includes the latest coaching news in BC and an up-to-date list of resources and programs available to coaches. It includes articles on sport nutrition, legal issues in sport, sport psychology, sport medicine, financial management as well as information on upcoming events, seminars and NCCP courses. Members receive a mailed copy of the magazine and can also access a PDF copy through the Coaches BC Members Only area.
A monthly e-mail update with information regarding seminars, grants and scholarships, awards and other coach related information. Members have exclusive access to archived ENews.
A toll free line gives coaches anywhere in BC direct access to the Coaches BC office where knowledgeable staff will assist you with your questions.
Members are eligible for Coach of the Year Awards and other member recognition programs
Each month a new publication from Human Kinetics is featured. Members are offered a 25% discount on purchasing the book, and may also borrow the publication from the Coaches BC office, free of charge.
Need legal advice? Coaches BC works with law firms to assist with contractual specifics and coaching related needs.
Coaches BC has developed a standard contract that is available to all full members for use in negotiations with their respective employer.
Members are eligible to attend the Coaches BC Annual General Meeting and vote on matters affecting the direction and policies of the Association. (Affiliate members do not have voting privileges)

An individual who is a resident of BC and who has NCCP training (voting privileges)

An individual who is a resident of BC, but who does NOT have NCCP training (voting privileges)
Affiliate Member - Annual $15; Five year membership $50
An individual who had NCCP training but is NOT a resident of BC (no voting privileges)
** Refund/Cancellation Policy: Coaches BC issues NO REFUNDS on membership fees, NCCP courses hosted by Coaches BC (i.e. home study courses, etc.) and/or Coaches Week Events hosted by Coaches BC.
